The Wolf Is Showing His Teeth

The Holocaust happened less than a century ago; - the most awful act of genocide against G-D's own people - yet in spite of all the calls and declarations resolving that such a thing should never be allowed to happen again – an other genocide is being prepared for the Jews.

Israel today stands totally alone, surrounded by nations of whom none would shed a tear if she were to vanish as a nation and as a people. The situation inside and around Israel is alarming.

Turkey - after receiving military assistance from Israel for years, shared all these military secrets with Syria and Iran, the worst enemies of the Jewish state.

Egypt itself may yet trump Turkey with a more pro-Islamic president succeeding the ailing Hosni Mubarak - says former IAEA chief inspector Mohammed Al-Baradei, who already has close contact with the Muslim brotherhood.

America's planned troop withdrawal from Iraq will probably leave Iran the big winner; Tehran extending its control over the state liberated from Saddam Hussein by using Iraq's already willing Shi'ite Muslims.

Hamas in the south of Israel and Hezbollah in the north are merely puppet groups of Iran. Hezbollah now boast that they have over 50,000 missiles, and many of them are long-range which can, and will, hit every part of Israel.

Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria and possibly soon also Egypt, all arrayed - Iran with nuclear weapons; Syria with VX Gas-tipped Scud missiles and many, many other missiles and weapons of mass destruction - against little Israel. Bashar Assad of Syria has made the statement many times over the past few months that war is the only thing Israel understands, and that Syria is now ready with tens of thousands of Missiles tipped with chemical warheads.

While all these Islamic nations are trying to tie the knot around Israel's neck - the world at large - is today more critical of Israel as towards the Jews in the days of Hitler. And as if this is not enough, the western nations lack strong and courageous leadership to stand up against this brutal threat, much as it was in the days of Hitler, when a foolish and weak British prime minister tried to appease this monster by sweet talk and diplomacy. That’s what brought the world to the Second World War and it may bring it to a third one as well.

Some of you may not know that a very large naval force has come together in the Persian Gulf, surrounding Iran. The USS Carrier Harry Truman, with over 6,000 Marines aboard, pulled into the area loaded for bear. I have been told that the USS Truman doesn't go anywhere without being protected by at least two nuclear subs. Israel and the US have grouped bombers and fighter jets in many countries in the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan and others. During the past weeks USS warship went through the Suez Cannel, as have Israel subs all capable of launching a nuclear attack. What is not known is how many, - Russian subs are in that area also. We do know that they have been seen docking along the Syrian coast with aircraft carriers also unloading military gear for Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army.

Lat week’s announcement in Moscow and Tehran on Aug. 11 that Russia is set to activate Iran's first nuclear power reactor by loading the fuel on Aug. 21 is certainly speeding things up. Israel is also worried by the news that Russia stationed S-300 anti-missile batteries in Abkhazia on the Black Sea because it ties in with the imminent activation of the Bushehr reactor. It is taken as a signal that Israel's air route to Iran is hereby closed and Moscow will do its utmost to thwart an Israeli strike against Iran's nuclear facilities. Once Russia has loaded the fuel into the power reactor, an attack risks spreading radiation in the air and perhaps into the water of the Persian Gulf.

If Iran goes to the nuclear option, Israel will have no choice but to take out Syria, Hezbollah (now all of Lebanon) and the Hamas in Gaza, and also Egypt if it tries a sneak attack, in short order or face terrible civilian causalities. With America and Russia involved, it will bring us into a global war.

I am not writing this to scare you, but to warn you and prepare you. It is not a matter of if, but of when the war breaks out, and I believe it is close. You can read about the coming war or series of wars in Ezekiel 38-39, especially if you are interested to find out how it all ends.

Jihad at Times Sqare

We’ve all heard it, - Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized U.S. citizen, who had recently returned from a five-month trip to his native Pakistan, was arrested at a New York airport on charges that he drove a bomb-laden SUV meant to cause a fireball in Times Square, federal authorities said.

Shahzad was on board a Dubai-bound flight at Kennedy Airport when FBI agents and New York Police Department detectives took him into custody late Monday, law enforcement officials said. The airport in Dubai is the Middle East's busiest and a major transit point for passengers traveling between the West and much of Asia, particularly India and Pakistan.

The SUV was parked on Saturday night on a busy midtown Manhattan Street near the offices of Viacom Inc., which owns Comedy Central. The network recently aired an episode of the animated show "South Park" that the group Revolution Muslim had complained insulted the Prophet Muhammad by depicting him in a bear costume....

Whose prophet? – Oh no, - NOT another act of Jihad! Did you read that word in the news paper? Did you hear it on TV? - Not once, by anyone in the Obama administration, are the words "Muslim" or "Islam" connected with "terrorism".

The explosive device inside the had cheap-looking alarm clocks connected to a 16-ounce can filled with fireworks, which were apparently intended to detonate gas cans and set propane tanks afire in a chain reaction "to cause mayhem, to create casualties," police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

A metal rifle cabinet placed in the SUV's cargo area was packed with fertilizer, but NYPD bomb experts believe it was not a type volatile enough to explode like the ammonium nitrate grade fertilizer used in previous terrorist bombings. – Good, that he chose the wrong fertilizer!

Police said the SUV bomb could have produced "a significant fireball" and sprayed shrapnel with enough force to kill pedestrians and knock out windows.

A vendor alerted a police officer to the parked SUV, which was smoking. Times Square, clogged with tourists on a warm evening, was shut down for 10 hours. A bomb squad dismantled the explosive device, and no one was hurt.

"It's clear," he said, "that the intent behind this terrorist act was to kill Americans."

More than a dozen people with American citizenship or residency, like Shahzad, have been accused in the past two years of supporting or carrying out terrorism attempts on U.S. soil, cases that illustrate the threat of violent extremism from within the U.S.

Among them are Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, a U.S.-born Army psychiatrist of Palestinian descent, charged with fatally shooting 13 people last year at Fort Hood, Texas; Najibullah Zazi, a Denver-area airport shuttle driver who pleaded guilty in February in a plot to bomb New York subways; and a Pennsylvania woman who authorities say became radicalized online as "Jihad Jane" and plotted to kill a Swedish artist whose work offended Muslims.

After authorities pulled Shahzad off the plane, he admitted he was behind the crude Times Square car bomb, officials said. He also claimed to have been trained at a terror camp in Pakistan's lawless tribal region of Waziristan, according to court documents. That raised increased concern that the bombing was an international terror plot.

According to an official who spoke to The Associated Press Shahzad, the son of a former top Pakistani air force officer came to the United States in late 1998 on a student visa. He took classes at the now-defunct Southeastern University in Washington, D.C., and then enrolled at the University of Bridgeport, where he received a bachelor's degree in computer applications and information systems in 2000.

That’s how they come into this country. They study at our universities, and during their free time they train for Jihad.

The car bomb in Times Square was an attempted Islamic jihad attack. It wasn’t the work of a lonely extremist or a tea party member.

 How do we know? Because Faisal Shahzad attended a Jihad training camp in Pakistan. He just recently spent five months in that country, including some time in Peshawar, a center of Al-Qaeda and Taliban activity. A Pakistani Taliban group claimed responsibility for the attack -- a claim that American authorities immediately dismissed, but which came to the surface when Shahzad's Pakistani connections were revealed.

What Is Going On?

What is going on? – I was reading in our SWI news - my husband puts together everyday –that the U.S. deployed two Patriot missile systems into four Islamic countries--Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait. Furthermore the US is also keeping Aegis cruisers, which can shoot down medium-range missiles, on patrol in the Gulf.

I guess, the idea behind the sales of anti-missile systems to those countries, is to deter Iran from launching attacks against its Sunni Muslim neighbors and to send a message to Israel that a pre-emptive strike against Iran is unnecessary. By selling conventional American weapons, Washington hopes to stop a nuclear arms race in the region.

These are major defensive and foreign policy decisions all went forward without an "official" announcement. The news media seems to be lost for an explanation because this Administration has been so determined to engage Iran in talking rather than any action. This unannounced, sudden and substantial defensive fortification in the area is likely to raise tension not only with Iran, but also with Iran's allies, Russia and China.

For almost ten years, America accused Iran of building nuclear bombs and the missile system to deliver them. The United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency denied Iran's intentions until recently, giving the terrorist sponsoring nation the needed time to build such weapons. Russia and China have continually blocked any substantial action against Iran from their positions on the U.N. Security Council. Here is what’s happening: The White House has been trying to prevent Israel from attacking Iran's nuclear sites. And now the White House has beefed up defenses in the Persian Gulf area and is selling more weapons to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states at an accelerated pace.

Arming Islamic enemies of Iran is a doubled edged sword. It is putting a huge amount of firepower in the hands of Islamic rulers whose hatred for Israel runs far deeper than their hatred for their Islamic brothers.

Meanwhile Arab voices were fanning Middle East war fever Wednesday night, Feb. 3. Debkafile's military sources report that not only are Syrian leaders beating war drums - Syrian foreign minister Walid Muallem said in Damascus: "Israelis, do not test the power of Syria since you know the war will move into your cities" - but Egyptian military sources have put out information purporting to outline Israel's preparations to strike Iran.”

At this time, the terrorist group Hezbollah has reportedly 40,000 missiles aimed at Israel. Iran's leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, says "Iran will deliver a telling blow to global powers on February 11," --the anniversary of Iran's Islamic revolution.”
Are we approaching the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy, where Adonai speaks of Russia, Persia and all the nations in the region in the latter days: “...you will invade my people Israel like a cloud covering the land?” (Ez.38:16)?

What Are You Going To Do About It?

First of all, - I don’t like politics.

However, I observe what is happening in America.

It used to a country ruled by two main parties: Democrats and Republicans. For a few years the USA would have a Democratic president, then a Republican one. Somehow they always managed to compromise peacefully on their most important issues.

This all changed with the last election. All of a sudden the whole country is ruled unilaterally by Democrats. Republicans who object to his government are now branded as enemies. As a matter of fact, anyone who objects to this president is being now an enemy to the Obama government.

What is the big dividing issue? Most of it has to do with moral values.

1. Republicans don’t believe in murdering unborn babies and support heterosexual marriages. (Adam and Eve! Not Adam and Steve!) Republicans are anti-ABORTION while Democrats favor abortion and homosexuality. Republicans oppose same-sex MARRIAGE while democrats support it. Republicans feel that a good FAMILY background is important. Democrats seek to destroy the foundation of the family.

2. Republicans support the freedom to BEAR ARMS. This gives law abiding citizens the opportunity to protect themselves. Republicans favor a strong MILITARY to protect its citizens. Democrats want strict gun laws so that their citizens are "Powerless". This works toward their ultimate goal of socialism/ communism. Democrats want to downsize our military leaving us at the mercy of countries like China and Russia.

3. Republicans want a smaller federal GOVERNMENT with the power in the hands of its citizens. Democrats want a large and controlling government who seek to exploit us for their benefit

4. Republicans see FLAG burning as unacceptable. Democrats along see this as freedom of expression.

5. Democrats are running up crushing federal debt at a level unprecedented in American history. We are talking trillions upon trillions of dollars in debt. This ensures the future will bring ruinous taxes, runaway inflation, or eventual financial collapse. Obama is lending aid, money, and support to tyrannies and terrorists. From getting chummy with Hugo Chavez to releasing dangerous GITMO terrorists to handing almost a billion dollars to Palestinian terrorists, Obama has yet to meet a terrorist or tyrant he doesn’t seem to like.

Watch out, your freedom in America is on decline. Object as long as you still can. Free speech is about to be snuffed.

Shouldn’t G-D’s will be the only important issue? Isn’t He the one who created the universe and gave the Jews the 10 commandments ? Wouldn’t we be better off heading His advice?

If you want to endure the consequences of your rejection of His rules, - go for it. But as for me and my house, we shall serve the L-rd. (Josh: 24.15)

Who is a Settler?

There many words to describe the spectacular northeastern corner of Oregon. (Paradise, beautiful, breathtaking, incredible.) The snow-capped mountains around Wallowa Lake are Oregon’s “Little Switzerland”. The rich history of the region is forever connected to the story of Chief Joseph and the Nez Percé (Pierced Nose) Indians.

"Chief Joseph" was born in the Wallowa Valley in 1840. He was given the name “Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kek”t, or “Thunder Rolling Down the Mountain”, but he was widely known as Joseph, or Joseph the Younger, because his father had taken the Christian name Joseph when he became a Christian. - If you ever lived in the mountains, you know that the sound of thunder grows as it echoes from the mountains.

While initially hospitable to the region's newcomers, Joseph the Elder grew weary when settlers wanted more Indian lands. Tensions grew as the settlers appropriated traditional Indian lands for farming and grazing livestock. The “settlers” were mostly Europeans, who forcibly took the land from the native Indians.

With 2,000 U.S. soldiers in pursuit, Joseph and other Nez Percé chiefs led 800 Nez Percé toward freedom at the Canadian border. For over three months, the Nez Percé outmaneuvered and battled their pursuers traveling 1,700 miles (2,740 km) across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. General Howard, leading the opposing cavalry, was impressed with the skill with which the Nez Percé fought, using advance and rear guards, skirmish lines, and field fortifications. Finally, after a devastating five-day battle during freezing weather conditions with no food or blankets, Chief Joseph formally surrendered to General Nelson Appleton Miles on October 5, 1877 in the Bear Paw Mountains of the Montana Territory, less than 40 miles (60 km) south of Canada in a place close to the present-day Chinook in Blaine County. The battle is remembered in popular history by the words attributed to Chief Joseph at the formal surrender:

"Tell General Howard I know his heart. What he told me before; I have it in my heart. I am tired of fighting. Our chiefs are killed; Looking Glass is dead, Too-hul-hul-sote is dead. The old men are all dead. It is the young men who say yes or no. He who led on the young men is dead. It is cold, and we have no blankets; the little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food. No one knows where they are—perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children, and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

In his last years, Joseph spoke eloquently against the injustice of United States policy toward his people and held out the hope that America's promise of freedom and equality might one day be fulfilled for Native Americans as well. An indomitable voice of conscience for the West, he died in 1904, still in exile from his homeland, according to his doctor "of a broken heart."

According to the dictionary a settler is someone who settles in new land, like the Europeans in America.

The story made me think of Israel today. - Why are Jews called “settlers” in Israel? Didn’t they simply return to their own country? They didn’t conquer new land that never belonged to them before. They simply returned to their ancient homeland.

Wouldn’t that make anyone else who lived there and conquered their land a settler?

Who is a "settler" in the Mideast? According to the Arabs, only Jews are "settlers." But that simply is not true. Think about it! Arafat himself was born in Egypt. He later moved to Jerusalem. While he was living in the West Bank, he was a "settler" there, not a native.

Indeed, most of the Arabs living within the borders of Israel today have come from some other Arab country at some time in their life. Aren’t they the "settlers"?

The Future Belongs to Israel

Israel is rotting in politics. So must it be before Israel’s eventual ascendancy as a light unto the nations. The seed must rot before the flower emerges.

One does not have to be a political scientist to smell the odor of politics. Political scientists merely affirm the commonplace when they define politics as a struggle for power, a lust for self-aggrandizement. We all know that this lust is couched in honorific terms, like “democracy” or “peace” or the “common good.” We know that politicians manipulate the unwary, mislead them by spin or misleading language—even outright mendacity. We see this in America, we see this in Israel.

Although democracy doesn’t have a monopoly of disinformation, money and the mass media have trashed Jeffersonian democracy, which was supposed to foster reason and rational debate. America has lost its bearings. What about Israel?

Unlike America, founded on Judeo-Christian ideas and values, Israel was founded on a truncated form of Zionism—“secular” Zionism. But Zionism can’t be secular without eviscerating original “Zion,” which involves three interrelated ideas: (1) the People of Israel, (2) the Land of Israel, and, most emphatically (3) the Torah of Israel. This third idea had no role in the reestablishment of the State of Israel. It may well be argued that the founders of the state, who wanted to create a “new Jew,” wanted to relegate Judaism not merely to the home and the synagogue, but to the dust heap of history.

Indeed, if Israel had as its leaders, when the Second Temple was destroyed, secular Zionists like David Ben-Gurion, Shimon Peres, and Binyamin Netanyahu, the Jewish people would have become as extinct as the dodo. No serious person will dispute the fact—affirmed even by Ben-Gurion—that it was the Torah that preserved the Jewish people during two thousand years of dispersion, torture, and decimation.

Nevertheless, the secularists Zionists—mostly socialists—who founded the State of Israel thought they could dispense with the Torah. We see the results: their political descendants—not only the “post-Zionists”—are willing to abandon Israel’s heartland, Judea and Samaria, as well as the 300,000 Jews who live on this land. Hence, they are willing to amputate the first and second ideas of “Zion”!

Still, one sometimes hears voices from the “Right,” including the Likud Party, that deplore the abandonment of Zionism, without realizing that this began with the abandonment of the Torah. It’s important to recognize that secular Zionism died some sixteen years before Prime Minister Netanyahu buried it at Bar-Ilan University, once a stronghold of religious Zionism.

Politics in Israel is therefore devoid of any ideology, of any distinctively Jewish national goal. This can be most promising, provided Israel awakens to the fact that the death of Zionism is a logical consequence of the flawed foundations of the State. As mentioned on previous occasions, and as may be seen in the first sentence of its Declaration of Independence, Israel’s reestablishment was based on the territorial nationalism of nineteenth-century Europe—Europe, where the nation-state is succumbing to the multiculturalism and internationalism also manifested by post-Zionism! Irony of ironies, this is why a secularist like Netanyahu supports the territorial surrender involved in the “two-state solution” initiated by post-Zionist Shimon Peres.

Let us not despair. Israel is shedding what was at best a make-shift ideology—the secular Zionism that contributed to Israel’s physical redemption. Needed is Israel’s spiritual redemption, and this is coming. Never has there been so many Jews returning to the Torah; never so many yeshivas. A veritable renascence is taking place in the study of Jewish law, revealing its great rationality and relevance.

Meanwhile, a convergence of science and Torah has been taking place with every advance in astronomy, physics, and molecular biology. “The Science of God” is the title of two books; “God and the new cosmology” the title of another; “God and the new physics” still another. Michael Denton’s Evolution: A Theory in Crisis refuted Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion twenty years before that tract of Darwinian fundamentalism was published. But this is not all.

Consider what is happening in the United States. At last the U.S. has a president that dispels the stultifying illusion that Israel’s salvation depends on America. This will prompt more Jews to turn to God.

But what about that bizarre pro-Muslim president? That a man long associated with anti-American malcontents and scoundrels, a man who, according to Islamic law is a Muslim—and, so far as we know, he may not even be an American—that this man was elected president of the United States signifies that democratic politics is intellectually and morally bankrupt and that America—short of a spiritual revolution—is approaching its nadir as a Judeo-Christian nation.

America was the model of mankind. Its decline is a precondition for the eventual ascendancy of Israel. This will be hastened by Islamism, whose spearhead is Iran. Iran’s threat to “wipe Israel off the map” should be understood not simplistically as a manifestation of Jew-hatred but as a dim foreboding—now of universal scope—that the future belongs to Israel.

Obama’s Islamic Speech

There was a time when Barack Hussein Obama wasn't eager to highlight his ties to Islam. Just a year ago, he was a presidential candidate trying to counter false Internet rumors that he was a Muslim as he sought the support of American voters.

Today however, Hussein Obama is the U.S. president and his audience is bigger and more diverse: a world that includes 1.5 billion Muslims.

On Thursday, Obama sought common ground with Muslims by tracing personal links to Islam throughout his life as he laid out his vision for a strengthened relationship between America and followers of that faith.

President Hussein Obama delivered his landmark speech to the Islamic world quoting the Koran and emphasizing his Islamic roots by mixing religion and policy to bring great words of appeasement to the Islamic world.

He said "I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the Azaan at the break of dawn and the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith. . .That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

And, he quoted from the Quran as he issued a greeting of peace, saying "Assalaamu alaykum."

President Obama finished his whirlwind tour of Islamic dictatorships. He received golden gifts and gave, in exchange, golden complements, saying of Saudi King Abdullah, "I've been struck by his wisdom and graciousness" as well as "his generosity". The President spoke with reporters before touching down in Saudi Arabia, declaring that he "thought it was very important to come to the place where Islam began and to seek His Majesty's counsel". – Remember, this president of the United States just recently bowed to the Saudi King in England?

Hussein Obama’s Islamic ties go back to his schooling in a Jakarta “Madrassa.” Both his father and stepfather are Muslim, and Sarah Hussein Obama of Kenya, Obama’s step-grandmother, is a lifelong Muslim. According to Islam, anyone who willingly submits to the will of Allah is a Muslim. And while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, he may not know not how the Arabs and Muslims see it. - In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. And once a Muslim, always a Muslim. You cannot go back. In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim. He may think he's a Christian, but they do not.

You may object that millions of Muslims today leave Islam and convert to the Christian faith. But according to Shariah law, whoever critiques Muhammad is an enemy of Islam, and thus deserves the death penalty. Regardless of whether the Muslim embraces Christianity (as is happening today with millions of the Indonesians) or becomes an atheist, Islamic law declares that he must be killed. Also, anyone who rejects any of the basic ordinances of Islam or insults the prophet or the Qur'an (as Salman Rushdie did) will be regarded as an apostate and must be killed. – Have you ever asked yourself why do Muslims not object to Obama’s Christianity????

Obama went on saying during his speech, that all of us have a responsibility to work for the day when "the Holy Land of three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed (peace be upon them) joined in prayer." This man claims to be a Christian, yet promotes a Quranic story that Moses, Jesus and Mohammed were together in prayer.

Sura Al-Isra (Arabic: سورة الإسراء, Sūratu al-Isrā, "The Night Journey"), also called Sura Bani Isra'il (ie Children of Israel), is the 17th chapter of the Qur'an, with 111 verses. This Surah takes its name from the first verse, which tells the story of the Isra and Mi'raj, the transportation of Muhammad during the night to what is referred to as "the farthest Mosque". The location of this mosque is not explicitly stated in the Qur'an, although in Islamic Hadith this is commonly taken to be the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The story of Isra begins with Muhammad (570–632) resting in the Kaaba in Mecca, when the archangel Gabriel comes to him, and brings him the winged horse Buraq, the traditional lightning steed of the prophets. The Buraq then carries Muhammad to the "farthest mosque". Muhammad alights, tethers Buraq, and leads other prophets in prayer. He then re-mounts the Buraq, and in the second part of the journey, the Mi'raj, is taken to the heavens, where he tours the circles of heaven, and speaks with the earlier prophets such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, and then is taken by Gabriel to Allah. Allah instructs Muhammad that Muslims must pray fifty times a day; however, Moses tells Muhammad that it is very difficult for them and they could never do it, and urges Muhammad to go back several times and ask for a reduction, until finally it is reduced to five times a day.

This story has however no evidence. It was established by other companions of Muhammad. Although some accounts describe the Prophet as having visited Al-Aqsa mosque, this is an anachronism since Al-Aqsa was only built many years after the ”Prophet's” death.

After Muhammad returned to Earth and told his story in Mecca, the unbelieving townspeople regarded it as absurd. Ahmad Muhammad 'Arafa, a columnist for the Egyptian weekly Al-Qahira, which is published by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, wrote an article rejecting the established Islamic belief that the Prophet Muhammad's celebrated "Night Journey" (Koran 17:1) took him from Mecca to Jerusalem. 'Arafa, presenting a new analysis of the Koranic text, asserts that the Night Journey in Surat Al-Isra' (that is, "the Sura of the Night Journey") in the Koran does not refer to a miraculous journey from Mecca to Jerusalem, but to the Prophet's emigration (Hijra) from Mecca to Medina.
This would seem more logical to me also, since Mecca and Medina were always were Islam’s holy places.

Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Qur'an,

yet, it is mentioned 823 times in the Bible, and Zion (which usually means Jerusalem, and sometimes "the Land of Israel"), appears 161 times. Of the 823 mentions of Jerusalem by name in the Bible, 669 of them are in the Old Testament, and 154 times in the New Testament.

Four Muslims arrested in plot to bomb New York synagogues

Four Black Muslims in New York don't seem to have gotten the memo that the jihad terror threat is all over.

"NBC: 4 arrested in plot to bomb NYC targets: Suspects were under heavy surveillance, authorities say," from NBC News, May 20 (thanks to Pamela):

WASHINGTON - Four men have been arrested in a plot to attack several targets in the New York City area, including synagogues, federal and local authorities told NBC News Wednesday.

Authorities said the four men have long been under investigation and there was little danger they could actually have carried out their plan, NBC's Pete Williams reported.

Investigators say the four, described as Black Muslims from the Bronx, had planned to place bombs at various targets. But New York city police and federal agents got wind of the plot and kept the men under careful surveillance.

In fact, officials say, the men recently bought what they thought were explosives, which they put in storage lockers outside the city. But what the men did not know is that the material they bought was actually harmless, sold to them by informants posing as explosives dealers....

Two years ago, two Muslims pleaded guilty to plotting to attack synagogues in Los Angeles. But officials said that they knew of no connection between those arrests and this latest plot in New York.

The men were arrested as they planted fake bombs in front of the Riverdale Temple in the Bronx and under cars parked in front of the synagogue.

They also allegedly planned to blow up a second synagogue, the Riverdale Jewish Center....

Did Islam Shape America?

In England, Obama bowed before the Saudi King, and then he went to Turkey, where he addressed the Turkish Parliament: “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

Help me, but I am trying to figure out how Islam shaped America?

Didn’t Europeans land in America and create a conflict with the Natives? Wasn’t it the European colonization of the Americas that forever changed the lives, bloodlines and cultures of the peoples of the continent? When the settlers came to America with wagon trains, where were the Muslims? Were they hiding? As far as I know, these people were not Muslims. - American history tells us that Christianity shaped the United States, not Islam!

The only event that connected Islamic to the USA was the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Remember the terrorists who came to seek to destroy us?

But then, that’s nothing new. The leaders of radical Islam have called for the complete destruction of America and Israel; they have declared war on America and Israel.

How can an American president claim that the so-called Islamic faith shaped the United States for the better? Or was he talking about Kenya or Indonesia? I understand that there are problems with Obama’s citizenship.

If Islam influenced America during the last 8 years, it was not for the better, but for the worst.

So, it wasn’t over the centuries, but only recently that Islam has begun to shape America.

President Hussein Obama’s change is becoming evident. More and more Americans are waking up as they witness that their “Messiah” isn’t walking on water after all.

He tried to make friends with the Iranian president Ahmadinejad, the man who wants to wipe Israel off the map. But he recklessly misjudged Iran –because he didn’t distinguish between the regime and the oppressed people of Iran. Iran almost simultaneously announced that the country would ‘finish and operate’ it’s controversial Russian-built Bushehr nuclear plant by the end of the year.

Ayatollah Khomeini stressed the uselessness and futility of the current sanctions on Iran:"The world has been convinced that it is not possible to block the Iranian nation's nuclear progress. Iran's progresses in different scientific and non-scientific fields indicate ineffectiveness of the sanctions.”

There is no doubt that Obama’s “change” includes the fact that Washington has now turned against Jerusalem (Israel) and tries to appease Iran.

Last week Israel’s Chief of the Defense Staff Gabi Ashkenazi went to brief the US government on Iran’s nuclear program, but failed to gain access to any US Cabinet member including Defense Secretary Robert Gates. He came to discuss Israeli intelligence on Iran's nuclear reactor and to discuss ways to stop Iran from possibly triggering a third world war. His counterpart, Adm. Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also found the excuse of having had a pressing prior engagement. Israel's chief of Staff left the USA trip he was on early; because he was ignored there with no one of his level or who had any policy influence on Obama's staff could find the time to meet with him. The U.S. president had other things to do like go and be a guest on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, where he made a fool of himself. No one had time to meet with Israel’s chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi to set a plan of action on how to deal with Iran and its nuclear threat, not just against Israel, but against America as well.

This is what an unnamed former US intelligence official has said about the new US relationship with Israel: “I have every reason to believe, based on what I’ve seen at my level of [security] clearance especially over the last several years, that Israel will soon be completely on their own… or worse.” When asked what could be worse than losing the support of the United States, he stated: “when America's administration provides more support to Arab countries [with] financial and military aid, undercutting Israel’s defense efforts all while pushing Israel to succumb to the pressure of unreasonable demands designed to end with their political annihilation as a nation.”

It has long been obvious to me that most Americans don’t understand or don’t care what is actually happening in the Middle East relative to Israel. People don’t understand history, or have been subjected to revisionist history based on lies and more lies. Not to mention the media coverage that fails to provide an accurate assessment of what is taking place in Israel. – http://www.standingwithisrael.org has been trying to educate people for years. Yet, except for a few, most Americans are more interested in their weekends at home, shopping, sports and entertainment, than what goes on in Israel.

Outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warned Benjamin Netanyahu that he risks isolating Israel on the world stage unless he agrees to the creation of a Palestinian state. "The only choice is between two states for two people or one state for two people. Those who don't see this are lying to themselves and are risking causing great damage to Israel, including losing its international support. Anyone who goes into a government whose coalition guidelines do not include the principle of two states for two peoples is knowingly liable to subject Israel to isolation, the likes of which it has never known since its establishment," he said.

Honor Killing in America

On the eve of Valentine’s Day, a ghastly honor-killing happened here in America.



The killer is Muzammil Hassan. He was the CEO of “Bridges”, a newly founded Muslim TV channel, which he started in the basement of his home, upstate New York. Muzzammil Hassan, 44, and his wife, Aasiya Hassan, 37, founded “Bridges TV” in November 2004. They described it as a satellite news and opinion channel aimed at portraying Muslims in a positive light following the Sept. 11 attacks.



After 9-11, Americans started to focus on Islam. Many soon came to the conclusion that Islam was a violent religion. After all, one doesn’t fly an airplane into a building on a peaceful mission! - So, they asked themselves the question: “Is Islam peaceful or violent?” The answer was: “Islam is violent.” It is a religion born out of violence, propagated through violence, and still accustomed to violence even today.



Muzzammil Hassan hoped to show Muslims in a more positive light. He wanted to change the Muslim image. That’s why he founded “Bridges TV” in November 2004. - "Every day on television we are barraged by stories of a 'Muslim extremist, militant, terrorist, or insurgent,'" Hassan said in the 2004 release. "But the stories that are missing are the countless stories of Muslim tolerance, progress, diversity, service and excellence that Bridges TV hopes to tell."



Did he succeed to portray a picture of peaceful Islam to America? Not according to Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz. According to him, Hassan is accused of cutting off his wife's head at his Buffalo, N.Y., station Feb. 12. Yes, you heard right, Aasiya Z., the wife of Hassan, 37, was found dead on Thursday at the offices of Bridges TV in Orchard Park, N.Y., near Buffalo. - Her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, has been charged with second-degree murder. – Why only second degree?



The estranged wife of the Muslim television executive feared for her life after filing for divorce last month from her abusive husband, her attorney said — and was then found beheaded Thursday in his upstate New York television studio. The Hassans were married for eight years and had two children together, ages 4 and 6. Aasiya was her husband's third wife, and the couple reportedly met on the Internet.



Benz said officers were called to the couple's home on Feb. 6, when Aasiya Hassan had obtained an order of protection barring her husband from the home. - "He was served with divorce papers that day at the [television studio]," Benz said. "He came back to the residence and was pounding on doors and broke one window … He left the premises that night." - Benz said Hassan's body was found on an office floor at the Orchard Park television station.

On Feb. 12, Hassan informed police his wife was dead and told them exactly where to find her body. According to CNN reports, Hassan confessed to killing Aasiya. He has been charged with second-degree murder. Authorities are still looking for a murder weapon
Hassan, who was arraigned Thursday, remains jailed at the Erie County Holding Center. No bail had been set and an attorney for Hassan was not listed, according to a jail spokeswoman. Hassan has a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, Benz said.



Beheadings are more common in Hassan's former homeland of Pakistan and throughout the Islamic world. Just a week ago, Taliban terrorists in that country beheaded a Polish geologist abducted in an effort to arrange a prisoner swap.



An American U.N. worker, John Solecki, is currently facing a similar fate at the hands of Islamic terrorists in that country.

According to Islam, if a woman disobeys her husband she is disgraced. Therefore, when Aasiya Zubair, the wife of Hassan, resorted to the Western justice system to seek protection from her menacing husband, she had certainly broken the Islamic tenet of complete surrender to the wishes of her husband. Thus, she had dishonoured her husband, his reputation and, most importantly, the Islamic code of conduct for an obedient wife. Therefore, it is not surprising that the killer had to end her life Islamically, to restore his pride, honor and religious conviction.

The Qur’an is the basis of honor killing in Islam. 4:15:
YUSUF ALI: If any of
your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four witnesses from
amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until
death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some way.

This verse clearly tells that a disgraced woman is condemned to a solitary confinement till death. The alternative is the judgment of Allah. The Qur’an is not clear what that judgment of Allah could be. There are various interpretations on this. Therefore, it is a fish market: anyone may do to his woman whatever he wishes, including ending her life.



YUSUF ALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in his absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them first, Next, refuse to share their beds, And last beat them but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means For Allah is Most High, great



Please note that in verse 4:34 Allah permits a husband to punish his disobedient wife. It is worthy to observe that this verse says if the husband suspects or fears disobedience and rebellion; that the actual acts might not have taken place. This verse also says that the men are the protectors of women. Thus, Islamically, Aasiya was foolish enough to seek the protection of Canadian law. It was a clear violation of Qur’anic injunction of verse 4:34, a challenge to Islam. And, as per the Islamic law, if anyone violates the Qur’anic command the only punishment is death by beheading. Thus, we may conclude that Hassan has acted in the manner that Qur’an commands him.



See, in Islam, a woman is nothing more than her husband’s property. There are a number of ahadith that say that a Muslim woman’s status to her husband is no more than a slave.
Since in Islam, a woman is the property of her husband, it is imperative that the husband reserves the full right to dispose off his property in any manner he wishes.

After the collapse of Communism almost everyone seemed to be relived. Many thought that all threats to the American way of life had finally vanished. Then the sad events of
9-11 destroyed those hopes.

Today another force is working inside of America. This movement is far more malignant than Communism could have ever been. The movement is Islam, determined to bring our nation under its submission. It poses a much more realistic threat, because we naively believe the politically correct hype about Islam being a peaceful religion being fed to us on the evening news. The fact is - it is a religious as well as a political, economical and social system that demands rule over every aspect of life.

Daniel Pipes wrote in the New York Post: “The ambition to take over the United States is hardly a new one. The first Islamic missionaries from abroad arrived in the 1920s and unblushingly declared, ‘Our plan is, we are going to conquer America.’”

Shamim A. Siddiqi wrote a book on establishing "Islamic rule" in the United States, with the goal of Muslims creating "a strong lobby in Washington for the promotion of Islam in this country as well as elsewhere in the world." Some organizations also expressed a hope that one day soon Muslims would take over in the United States. – Only about one month after the Sept. 11 atrocities, a delegate at the American Muslim Alliance convention, held in San Jose, announced: "By the year 2020, we should have an American Muslim president of the United States."

I remember when the PBS documentary, “Jihad in America”, first aired nationwide in 1994. It was produced by investigative reporter Steven Emerson. Shortly thereafter it was however suppressed by the media, and I had difficulties getting the video tape.

Emerson was the first American journalist to document in chilling video the militant Islamic support networks and terrorist groups secretly operating on American soil. Emerson successfully infiltrated key conferences and rallies with hidden cameras in an effort to track down the people responsible for supporting and abetting terrorist activities on U.S. soil. At these events, and on this film, these extremists state their chilling intentions in their own words.

Counter-terrorism officials from the National Security Council, Justice Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) acknowledged that Emerson's documentary demonstrated that he had more reliable and accurate information about the secret terrorist networks on American soil than the US Government.

Today, a large army of Muslim activists is active in America and its soldiers are working fervently to achieve their goal. It is nothing less than converting Americans to Islam and turning it into an Islamic State. Sadly, in this battle, the most powerful nation on earth is losing ground.Muslim activists have learned how to manipulate us through our democratic laws and liberal immigration policies. We swung open our doors and they have launched an invasion that is undermining the very fabric of our civilization.

Just last month, an Islam advertisement was displayed on several Chicago Transit Authority buses. American Muslims launched a campaign to inform people about Islam via a bus, - with a simple sign: "ISLAM" Got Questions? Get Answers! GainPeace, an outreach project of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), was initiated to share Islam with non-Muslims to clarify many misconceptions they may hold due to “biased” reporting in the Media. The Islam ad campaign does not run in Chicago alone. ICNA, a New York-based grass-root organization that has 22 chapters across the US, has organized similar campaigns in Seattle and New York, Islam newsroom said. Each metro bus was covered on its side and on the top panel with beautiful message of Islam, Inshallah. The group spent $30,900 to place signs on 25 public buses serving across Chicago.

As the buses roam through our cities, making frequent stops, they are promoting the worship of Allah, inviting Americans to study and convert to Islam.

Russia Prepares for War at the North Pole

This headline appeared last week in several German newspapers.
In 2007, the Russian expedition “Arktika”, made the first descent to the ocean bottom below the North Pole, and planted a titanium flag of Russia in the seabed.

In the past submarines traveled below the Arctic ice cap, but in 2007 man reached the seabed below the North Pole for the first time. The Mir-1 and a second Mir-2 submarine faced the challenge of diving 13,980 feet (4,261 meters) deep, and then having to resurface at the exact location where they've submerged, because they were not strong enough to penetrate the ice themselves. The nuclear ice-breaker vessel “Rossiya” kept the ice open for the research ship and the submarines.

The expedition ship “Akademik Fyodorov” carried over 100 scientists to the North Pole. "Apart from the purely scientific goal of a comprehensive study of the climate and seabed at the North Pole, this expedition may help Russia to enlarge its territory by more than one million square kilometers," said Russia's Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute. The mini-submarine Mir-1 successfully reached the Arctic seabed. "Our mission is to remind the whole world that Russia is a great polar and research power," said expedition leader and deputy speaker of the Russian parliament Artur Chilingarov, Russia’s presidential envoy to the Arctic under President Vladimir Putin.

Russia claims that the sea-bottom at the North pole is connected to the Russian mainland, saying that a continental shelf called the “Lomonosov Ridge” runs from Siberia on the Arctic seabed to the North Pole. As such, it would be an extension of Russian territory. This can be true, knowing that before the ice age all land was connected as super-continent (Pangea).

The United States and Canada scoffed at the Russian submarine expedition that planted a Russian flag on the seabed under the North Pole. Coming home to a hero's welcome, the famous polar scientist led the risky voyage did not mince words in responding: "I don't give a damn what all these foreign politicians there are saying about this," Artur Chilingarov told a throng of well-wishers. "If someone doesn't like this, let them go down themselves ... and then try to put something there. Russia must win. Russia has what it takes to win. The Arctic has always been Russian.”

“This isn’t the 15th century. You can’t go around and just plant flags and say; ‘We’re claiming this territory’”, said Peter MacKay, Foreign Minister of Canada.
The claimed territory could contain undiscovered natural resources such as oil and gas. Russia’s military has begun to arm themselves for possible war plans in the Arctic. This has been aided by the fact that arctic warming has become so dramatic, scientists report that the last ice on the North Pole may melt this summer.

Yes, my friends, as we delve into the Passover story, we read how Pharoah felt threatened by the Jews, and decided to act treacherously with them. “He said to his people, “Behold! The people, the Children of Israel, are more numerous and stronger than we. Come, let us deal wisely with them…” Exodus 1: 9-10

You see, even in those days, a Pharaoh wasn’t able to do whatever he wanted. Political correctness existed in that time as well. Pharaoh would have had a very hard time having his soldiers commit genocide against the Jewish population who had flourished in Egypt and grew to be a strong part of Egyptian society. And let us not forget that a Jew, Joseph, was the prime minister of all of Egypt, so the Jews had it 'really made', much more so even, than Jews in America today.

"Come, let us deal wisely with them. Let us amputate the Land of Israel, divide Jerusalem, and plant a terror state in its belly, and we will call it 'peace'."
Yet there were those that hated the Jews. They were suspicious of this people who came down to Egypt and prospered so well. “Those Jews," they stated, "we open our doors to them and they become even greater than us.”

And so a new king arose over Egypt, one who did not know Joseph. -They apparently forgot about the Jew Joseph who saved the Egyptians from sarving to death during their 7 year famine. And so this new Pharaoh called a meeting, not unlike the Nazi's Wannsee Conference where they organized to plan the extermination of the Jewish People in Europe.

Pharaoh said to his ministers: “Come, let us deal wisely with them’. Pharaoh had to devise a plan where he could squash out the Jews without the press writing horrible headlines about him and his administration. Of course I write this example in jest, but there was too much of a chance that his people wouldn’t cooperate, nor would the Jews themselves cooperate. And so Pharaoh ‘dealt wisely’. He conspired to enslave the Jews -with the cooperation of all.
Our sages state that Pharaoh’s treacherous solution to the ‘Jewish problem’ was to deceive the Jews into showing their patriotism by building cities to safeguard the country’s wealth. As the Midrash teaches, Pharaoh set the example by joining the labor force to symbolize that everyone must help Egypt in its time of need. Once the Jewish volunteers were mobilized, in actuality donning their own chains - it was easy for the next step, which was to enslave them.

Next week, Pharaoh Bush will be coming to Israel. His arrival should be well prepared for, with a strong public stance stating where the red lines are and what lines he cannot cross over when he is here. But we know what the agenda is. We know that Bush is coming here not just for a 60 year birthday party of the Modern State of Israel, but in fact, he is coming in order to deal wisely with us. Behind the handshakes, photo ops and smiles, he is pushing hard for the establishment of a Palestinian terror state carved out of the belly of Israel, before the end of his term is up. He wants to wrest the Jewish people’s land, and hand it to her enemies. He calls this ‘peace’ and he deals wisely with us. Jews are being shot, shelled and bombed, and he tells us that this is the right way to end the bloodshed. He is dealing wisely with us.

Jews in Israel are holding the fort, building new communities, and keeping the land alive with Jewish life. Will our brothers who are still embeded across the sea do their small part? Will American Jewish organizations be bold enough to write a public letter to their president stating firmly their objections to the division of Israel and Jerusalem? Will Jews in America sit by idly as their president comes to Israel demanding an end to Jewish building in our Biblical homeland, the uprooting of Jewish communities and the arming and training of our enemies?

If Jews in America truly believe they enjoy more freedom than we do here in Israel, will they be brave enough to march in the streets, protest, demonstrate and otherwise send a strong message, “No dividing the Land of Israel”, “No to an Arab Palestinian Terror State.” Or, will they sit quietly in their living rooms, afraid of being accused of dual loyalty, especially after the arrest of Ben-Ami Kadish? Are the Jews in America really as free and protected as they believe, or are they also part of the Pharaoh conspiracy, thinking they are good patriotic Americans/Egyptians yet are truly salves to their own red-white-and-blue master?
