Uh -, oh - ; the mad scientists are at it again! In their determination to extract nature's secrets, scientists built a machine so powerful it has raised fears that it might cause the end of the world as we know it.

Enormous sums of money were flowing into this latest project, the so-called "Large Hadron Collider" (LHC) of the international research center CERN. Scientists ask themselves: “What was at the beginning of everything? And how does our universe work?”

They obviously don’t believe that there is a creator. They think that a “Big Bang” created our universe, and are trying to find out what could have happened before the “Big Bang”?
The “Big Bang” is a theory in which the universe supposedly has been expanding for around 13.7 billion years, starting from a tremendously dense and hot state.

So these scientists built a machine to answer that question. CERN's Large Hadron Collider is supposed to determine the nature of subatomic particles that are thought to have last been seen at the big event 10 billion to 15 billion years ago that led to the formation of the universe. They think that the energy of the collision will reproduce conditions that existed a moment after the “Big Bang” created the universe 14 billion years ago. But of course no one can predict what will happen next.

Discarding the Bible, scientists - people with a degree from a university - spent SFr 6 billion ($5.95 billion) to build this accelerator to “unlock the mystery of creation”.

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is a giant particle accelerator at the Swiss-French border, stretching for 27 km (17 miles) in a circular tunnel, 100 meters underground. This LHC tunnel runs between Lake Geneva and the Jura mountain range and generates temperatures colder than deep space. It has been in construction for 15 years.

The scientists use this collider to explore the make-up of "dark matter" – the invisible mass of energy - that is believed to make up 96% of the universe. Guided by huge magnets, two proton beams spin around the tunnel in opposite directions until they reach a velocity fractionally below the speed of light.

Last week the accelerator smashed particles together at high speeds within that tunnel. Circling the 27 km ring more than 11,000 times a second, they were narrowed to a point less than half the width of a human hair and smashed into each other. A minuscule nut was designed to crack the proton, the heart of the atom. With it, scientists hope to recreate the conditions which existed after the Big Bang theory.

Professor Jos Engelen, CERN's chief scientific officer, admitted that he didn't know what the full impact the results of the experiment will be.

What arrogance of men to question the existence of the Almighty!

Although at the CERN research center experiments have been carried out since the sixties on small particle acceleration with similar atomic crash tests, such a huge big-bang machine has never been implemented before. Firstly, so much energy is set free that tiny black holes could emerge at the collision points. An unsettling vision: in the X-Large-Version in outer space, black holes slurp up everything (even light) in their radius like giant space waste chutes. Will the end of mankind be a self-constructed black mini-hole?

And so today’s mad scientists created an artificial black hole, hunting for that hypothetical particle — the “Higgs boson” — which is sometimes called the "God particle" because it is believed to give mass to all other particles of the dark matter and energy of our universe.
Many of us are stunned to learn that even physicists felt worried enough to mull over the possibility that a new machine might destroy us all!

Even a group of 40 Israeli scientists joined the recreation of the Big Bang in this LHC-machine in Switzerland. They too must think that G-D lied in the Torah when he said that He created the universe.

Of course, there was a Big Bang. There was a BIG BANG when God spoke the universe into its existence!

Gog and Magog

Dear Readers,

It has been a while since you have heard from me. I apologize for my silence.

I have been busy getting things in order. We have been planning to go to Israel for quite some time, but it seems we just got the green light a few weeks ago.

Things don’t look pretty. There has never been a time since the Second World War that the world has been so positioned for global war than today.

A friend of mine reminded me that the Second World War began when the Nazis invaded Czechoslavia under the pretext that Hitler used that it was only to safeguard the Germans who lived in that part of Czechoslovakia, which was called the Sudetenland. However Hitler did not stop at that, but used his German co-patriots as a pretext for conquering the whole country.

A few days ago Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin made the same statement Hitler made: that his brutal invasion during the present Olympic Games - when the whole world was watching the other side - was only to safeguard the Russian populations of South Ossetia and Abkhasia. However just like the Sudetenland for Hitler, it seems as if these territories are just Putin's staging ground, to again the whole of Georgia under Russian control.

More than 20 Russian journalists who have dared criticize Putin publicly have mysteriously died or were murdered. Putin does not want a pro-Western, truly democratic state like Georgia on his southern doorstep.

And the world is watching, as it did when Hitler equally brutally invaded Czechoslovakia 70 years ago - an invasion which was soon followed by the invasion of Poland - leading eventually to the outbreak of the Second World War.

Today Russia is openly threatening the USA if they put the missile defense in Poland. Russia is also promising Syria more military aid and Assad is on his way to Moscow to buy those weapons with only one thought in mind, to destroy Israel.

The London Arabic Daily “Al Quds” warned Tehran that an attack is impending by the US, some European nations and Israel.

The battle of Gog and Magog is an event, which plays a prominent role in Islamic, Jewish and Christian eschatology. Although the scenarios have different results, all three faiths see Gog and Magog as a major event. Now just what are Gog and Magog is the subject of this blog.

In short, the battle of Gog and Magog is war in the latter days when a confederacy of nations attacks Israel, which has been restored in the last days. These nations, which attack Israel (Ezekiel 38-39), include nations which are Muslim and have a clear animosity to Israel. Along with these Muslims nations, a northern kingdom, called Gog and Magog, which the Bible identifies as the land Russia, will ally itself with Muslim nations, to oppose Israel in the last days.
This confederacy of nations comes against Israel, but G-D, who through Ezekiel foretells the event, defeats them. This conflict establishes Israel and restores them to the land in preparation of their redemption. The conflict also reminds the world why Israel went into captivity for the last two-thousand years. (Ezekiel 39:28).

What a time to live in. It seems that the times in which we are living require that we redouble our efforts to please our Creator. Our world has never been in greater peril than it is today.

What is Islamophobia?

An Israeli friend of mine recently visited the USA. He wrote that wherever he went he could feel the undercurrent of worry and fear for the future.

America and the entire world are in turmoil as the threat of terror looms over them and Islam spreads its tentacles over much of Europe and even the USA. It seems that Islamists have the West just where they want it to be. They are making extraordinary strides in Western societies toward criminalizing those who dare oppose the Islamist end-state — the imposition of brutal Shariah Law on Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

In May 2007, 57 Muslim states pressured the United Nations Human Rights Council to guarantee the right of free expression only without criticism of Islam, on the grounds of religious discrimination. Now a UN Special Reporter on “Freedom of Expression” has been charged with documenting instances in which individuals and media organizations engage in what the Islamists call "Islamophobia."

Excuse me, but criticizing Jews, Christian and other religions is OK ??
The first time I wrote the truth about Islam in a German Forum, I was attacked as an “Islamophobe”. I had to “google” the term to find out that this was a new word for prejudice or discrimination against Islam or Muslims.

Oh my goodness, I simply tried to point out what the Qu’ran taught, even using its own verses (suras) as documentation; and because of this I was “diagnosed” as having a phobia or fear of Muslims? - The Arab News labeled “Islamophobia” as the worst form of racism and terrorism.

The English suffixes -phobia, -phobic, -phobe (of Greek origin: φόβος/φοβία ) occur in psychiatry to construct words that describe irrational, disabling fear as a mental disorder. In short, medically speaking, it is an anxiety disorder. Yes, you got it, if you criticize Islam, you are just plain crazy and mentally insane!
Jordan's Prosecutor General has recently brought charges against Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders. According to a lawsuit, "Fitna" — Wilders' short documentary film that ties certain Koranic passages to Islamist terrorism — is said to have slandered and insulted the Prophet Mohammed, demeaned Islam and offended the feelings of Muslims in violation of the Jordanian penal code. Mr. Wilders has been summoned to Amman to stand trial and, if he fails to appear voluntarily, international warrants for his arrest will be issued.

And so we are today witnessing the spectacle of authors' books being burned, ministers prosecuted, documentary film-makers investigated and journalists hauled before so-called "Human Rights Councils" on charges of offending Muslims, slandering Islam or other "Islamophobic" conduct.

The fact remains that the term "Islamophobia" has one purpose – to suppress any criticism, legitimate or not, of Islam. And given the cowardice of the Western media, and the collusion of the left in banning any such criticism it is working.

The term “Islamophobia” is therefore a tool of deception that misleads the world, blackmails the West, terrorizes whoever dares to criticize Islam, fuels the anger of Muslim youth, and minimizes the danger of Islamic terrorism, merely because the laws, sacred texts, and modern practices of Islam demand the submission of culture, politics, religion and all social expression.

In short, if you tell the truth about Islam, you are just plain nuts and should be admitted to the psychiatric ward!

Coincidence or Consequence?

The Bible tells us again and again that there are consequences for those who rebel against G-D’s word. As a matter of fact it is one of the main themes throughout the entire Torah.

The Almighty warns us of the following: "I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Y’hoshafat " (meaning "Adonai judges”) - which may refer to the Kidron Valley on the East of Jerusalem. " I will enter into judgment there on behalf of My people and My heritage, Israel, whom they scattered among the nations - and they divided My land." (Joel 3:2)

How much clearer should G-D's warning be than; "DON'T DIVIDE G-D'S LAND"? How many ways does the L-rd need to tell us not to mess with Jerusalem? Can He tell us in plainer language than this not to divide Israel? Not to partition off Jerusalem? Are we deaf, illiterate or dumb?

Since 1967, Israel had steadfastly claimed a united Jerusalem as 'its eternal capital, never to be divided again.” Yet, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, has been pressuring Israel to drop all of its redline conditions in order to create a Palestinian state, which is to include the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and essentially all of east Jerusalem..., and for the first time - the division of Jerusalem is on the table.

But Jerusalem will be a heavy burden for the USA. 2,500 years ago G-D spoke through the Hebrew prophet Zechariah. "And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples..." (meaning the entire world). All who would seek to heave it away will surely be cut in pieces." (Zechariah 12:3) Here is the punch-line; - EVERYONE who tries to divide Jerusalem will be utterly destroyed for getting involved with it.

Isaac and Ishmael's fight (fight between Jews & Arabs) over the possession of Jerusalem has drawn the whole world into it - just as the prophets predicted. It is the culmination of Ishmael's 4,000 year-old hatred of his half brother Isaac, the forefather of the Israelites.

The prophet Obadiah warned that God "deals with any nation in direct relation to how that nation interacts with Israel. If a nation blesses Israel, God blesses that nation. If a nation curses Israel, He curses that nation. It is that simple. “AS YOU DID TO ISRAEL IT WILL BE DONE TO YOU”. (Obadiah 1:15)

Why are we persistently interfering with the "apple of God's eye?" Why are our leaders repeatedly trying to get Israel to divide up her covenantal land? Why do they not see that each time they interfere with Jerusalem and Israel they simultaneously witness destruction in one American city after another?

Fires are raging in Southern California and destroying well over 1,000 homes. Almost a million Californians have been evacuated. Atlanta City warns that they will run out of water in less than three months - a drought of biblical proportions (their words). Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans - an entire U.S. port city. They still haven't recovered.

Is G-D trying to tell us something? Is it any wonder that disasters threaten thousands of American homes - this time in Southern California? Up to 850,000 residents have been evacuated to flee from the destructive fires raging all throughout the State. Fox News said, that it is the largest evacuation since the Civil War. - Just like Hurricane Katrina, thousands are fleeing for their lives while their homes are threatened or destroyed.

As the Bush administration pressures Israel to "divide" her land and give up more land to Palestinians, Americans are losing their own land and properties in a biblical inferno. Coincidence?

Again? How many times must we suffer harm before we learn not to poke sticks in the "apple of God's eye" - Israel? Noah warned the people for 120 years prior to the great flood. Before God judged the ancient Canaanites, He warned them for 400 years. He warned Israel, with prophet after prophet, for close to two hundred years before the Babylonian captivity. – G-D is now warning America."

John McTernan said: "At some point, the warning-judgments cross over to destruction-judgments. The destruction-judgments will break the nation and stop the interference with G-D's plan for Israel. There is no recovery from destruction-judgments. It appears Hurricane Katrina was the first destruction-judgment." "Is the Southern California inferno the second judgment? Will the Atlanta drought be the third? What is next?" "God takes His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob very seriously. The judgments begin after a nation hardens its heart and is adamant against His word. It appears that the rebellion and unbelief in G-D's word has now taken America to the brink of destruction-judgments."

The prophet Isaiah warned us that in the last days God is going to turn the world upside down...(Isaiah 24:1). According to this prophecy, sudden judgment is coming upon the earth, and it will change everything in a single hour. Within that short span, the whole world will witness fast falling destruction upon a city and a nation, and the world will never be the same."

On Fox news television the other morning, I heard California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger state, ..."One minute the home is there...and in less than an hour the fire has destroyed it! In one hour everything's gone!"

Russia Prepares for War at the North Pole

This headline appeared last week in several German newspapers.
In 2007, the Russian expedition “Arktika”, made the first descent to the ocean bottom below the North Pole, and planted a titanium flag of Russia in the seabed.

In the past submarines traveled below the Arctic ice cap, but in 2007 man reached the seabed below the North Pole for the first time. The Mir-1 and a second Mir-2 submarine faced the challenge of diving 13,980 feet (4,261 meters) deep, and then having to resurface at the exact location where they've submerged, because they were not strong enough to penetrate the ice themselves. The nuclear ice-breaker vessel “Rossiya” kept the ice open for the research ship and the submarines.

The expedition ship “Akademik Fyodorov” carried over 100 scientists to the North Pole. "Apart from the purely scientific goal of a comprehensive study of the climate and seabed at the North Pole, this expedition may help Russia to enlarge its territory by more than one million square kilometers," said Russia's Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute. The mini-submarine Mir-1 successfully reached the Arctic seabed. "Our mission is to remind the whole world that Russia is a great polar and research power," said expedition leader and deputy speaker of the Russian parliament Artur Chilingarov, Russia’s presidential envoy to the Arctic under President Vladimir Putin.

Russia claims that the sea-bottom at the North pole is connected to the Russian mainland, saying that a continental shelf called the “Lomonosov Ridge” runs from Siberia on the Arctic seabed to the North Pole. As such, it would be an extension of Russian territory. This can be true, knowing that before the ice age all land was connected as super-continent (Pangea).

The United States and Canada scoffed at the Russian submarine expedition that planted a Russian flag on the seabed under the North Pole. Coming home to a hero's welcome, the famous polar scientist led the risky voyage did not mince words in responding: "I don't give a damn what all these foreign politicians there are saying about this," Artur Chilingarov told a throng of well-wishers. "If someone doesn't like this, let them go down themselves ... and then try to put something there. Russia must win. Russia has what it takes to win. The Arctic has always been Russian.”

“This isn’t the 15th century. You can’t go around and just plant flags and say; ‘We’re claiming this territory’”, said Peter MacKay, Foreign Minister of Canada.
The claimed territory could contain undiscovered natural resources such as oil and gas. Russia’s military has begun to arm themselves for possible war plans in the Arctic. This has been aided by the fact that arctic warming has become so dramatic, scientists report that the last ice on the North Pole may melt this summer.

Russia's bold and sometimes confrontational positions have brought it increasingly at odds with the West. – Is Russia preparing for an ice-cold war at the North Pole?

Good Night Irene and Thank You

In the fall of 1999, Mr. Conard, a school teacher, encouraged students to work on a year-long National History Day project under the classroom motto, “He who changes one person, changes the world entire”.

Four girls accepted the challenge. Mr. Conard showed them a short clipping from a March 1994 issue of News and World Report, which said, 'Irena Sendler saved 2,500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942-43'. He told the girls the article might be a typographical error, since he had not heard of this woman or story. The four young students from Kansas began their research, and discovered a Catholic woman, who saved Jewish children.

Irena Sendler – a white-haired, gentle and courageous woman - passed away on Monday May 12th, 2008. Who was she?

Her story almost went unnoticed - an unfamiliar name to most people - but this remarkable woman defied the Nazis and saved 2,500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of the Warsaw Ghetto. - Irena Sendler was born in 1910 in Otwock, a town some 15 miles southeast of Warsaw. She was greatly influenced by her father, a doctor, whose patients were mostly poor Jews.

In 1939, Germany invaded Poland, and the brutality of the Nazis accelerated with murder, violence and terror. At the time, Irena was a Senior Administrator in the Warsaw Social Welfare Department, which operated the canteens in every district of the city. Previously, the canteens provided meals, financial aid, and other services for orphans, the elderly, the poor and the destitute. Now, through Irena, the canteens also provided clothing, medicine and money for the Jews. Irena and her helpers made over 3,000 false documents to help Jewish families and registered them under fictitious Christian names. To prevent inspections, the Jewish families were reported as being afflicted with such highly infectious diseases as typhus and tuberculosis, something the Nazis feared would spread beyond the ghetto. As an employee of the Social Welfare Department, she had a special permit to enter the Warsaw Ghetto, to check for signs of typhus.

Helping Jews was very risky — in German-occupied Poland, all household members were punished by death if a hidden Jew was found in their house. This punishment was more severe than those applied in other occupied European countries.

In 1942, the Nazis herded hundreds of thousands of Jews into a 16-block area that came to be known as the Warsaw Ghetto. The Ghetto was sealed and the Jewish families ended up behind its walls, only to await certain death. Irena Sendler was so appalled by the conditions that she joined Zegota, the Council for Aid to Jews, organized by the Polish underground resistance movement, as one of its first recruits and directed the efforts to rescue Jewish children (under her cover name Jolanta).

To be able to enter the Ghetto legally, Irena managed to be issued a pass from Warsaw’s Epidemic Control Department and she visited the Ghetto daily, reestablished contacts and brought food, medicines and clothing. But because 5,000 people were dying a month from starvation and disease in the Ghetto, she decided to help the Jewish children to get out. For Irena Sendler, a young mother herself, persuading parents to part with their children was in itself a horrendous task. Finding families willing to shelter the children, and thereby willing to risk their life if the Nazis ever found out, was also not easy.
During her visits, she wore a star armband as a sign of her solidarity to Jews, and began smuggling children out in an ambulance. She recruited at least one person from each of the ten centers of the Social Welfare Department. With their help, she issued hundreds of false documents with forged signatures. Irena Sendler successfully smuggled almost 2,500 Jewish children to safety and gave them temporary new identities.

Under the pretext of conducting inspections of sanitary conditions during a typhoid outbreak, the children were given false identities and placed in homes, orphanages and convents. Some children were taken out in gunnysacks or body bags. Some were buried inside loads of goods. A mechanic took a baby out in his toolbox. Some kids were carried out in potato sacks, others were placed in coffins, and some were disguised as packages. She also used the old courthouse of the edge of the Warsaw Ghetto (still standing) as one of the main routes of smuggling children out. The children were placed with Polish families, the Warsaw orphanage of the Sisters of the Family of Mary, or Catholic convents at Turkowice and Chotomów. Some were smuggled to priests in parish rectories where they could be further hidden. They entered a Catholic church in the Ghetto which had two entrances. One entrance opened into the Ghetto, the other opened into the Aryan side of Warsaw. They entered the church as Jews and exited as Christians. Irena had a remarkable record of cooperation when placing the youngsters: "No one ever refused to take a child from me," she said.
“Can you guarantee they will live?'" Irena later recalled the distraught parents asking. But she could only guarantee they would die if they stayed. "In my dreams," she said, "I still hear the cries when they left their parents."

Irena Sendler carefully noted, in coded form, the children’s original names and their new identities. She kept the only record of their true identities in jars buried beneath an apple tree in a neighbor's back yard, across the street from German barracks, hoping she could someday dig up the jars, locate the children and inform them of their past. - In all, the jars contained the names of 2,500 children ...

She hid lists of their names in jars, in order to keep track of their original and new identities. Żegota assured the children that, when the war was over, they must be returned to Jewish relatives.

In 1943, Sendler was arrested by the Gestapo, severely tortured, and sentenced to death. Żegota saved her by bribing German guards on the way to her execution. She was left in the woods, unconscious and with broken arms and legs. She was listed on public bulletin boards as among those executed. But the Nazis became aware of Irena's activities, and on October 20, 1943 she was arrested, imprisoned and tortured by the Gestapo, who broke her feet and legs. She ended up in the Pawiak Prison, but no one could break her spirit. Though she was the only one who knew the names and addresses of the families sheltering the Jewish children, she withstood the torture that crippled her for life refusing to betray either her associates or any of the Jewish children in hiding. Sentenced to death, Irena was saved at the last minute when Zegota members bribed one of the Gestapo agents to halt the execution. She escaped from prison but for the rest of the war she was pursued by the Nazis.After the war she dug up the jars and used the notes to track down the 2,500 children she placed with adoptive families and to reunite them with relatives scattered across Europe. However, almost all the children's parents had died at the Treblinka extermination camp.

But most lost their families during the Holocaust in Nazi death camps. The children had known her only by her code name Jolanta.
But years later, after she was honored for her wartime work, her picture appeared in a newspaper. "A man, a painter, telephoned me," said Sendler, "`I remember your face,' he said. `It was you who took me out of the ghetto.' I had many calls like that!"

Irena Sendler did not think of herself as a hero. She claimed no credit for her actions. "I could have done more," she said. "This regret will follow me to my death."

Truce or Hudna?

Thursday morning I read that at 6 am, when the sun was barely peeking over the horizon, Israel and Hamas entered into another uneasy truce. The ceasefire is supposed to be absolute, binding both the IDF and all terrorist groups in Gaza. If the truce lasts after several days, Israel agreed to reopen the Karni and Sufa goods crossings, allowing large quantities of food, fuel, building materials and other goods into the strip, in order to facilitate its economy. Once the Karni and Sufa crossings open - and prior to the reopening of the Rafah crossing - the negotiations to release kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit are to be accelerated.

Amos Gilad, Head of the Defense Ministry's Security-Diplomatic Bureau, said yesterday that "unless Gilad Shalit is released, the Rafah crossing will not be reopened” and; “I think the ceasefire is the only way we can hope to be able to facilitate Shalit's release."

To a Western audience, the word "truce" suggests a Hamas commitment to a peaceful resolution. In Arabic such a truce is referred to as “hudna.”

Hudna (هدنة) is an arabic term coming from a verbal root meaning "calm". It is sometimes translated as "cease-fire". In the Lisan al-Arab (Ibn al-Manzur's definitive dictionary of classical Arabic, dating to the 14th century) it is defined as follows: "hadana: he grew quiet. hadina: he quieted (transitive or intransitive). haadana: he made peace with. The noun from each of these is hudna."

“Shu'ada hudna?” (What is a hudna?) Sayed Ahmed Youssef, adviser to Palestinian Hamas PM Haniyeh, explained the meaning of "hudna" to us ignorant foreigners in the August pages of 2006 in the New York Times: “A truce is referred to in Arabic as a ‘hudna.’ Typically covering 10 years, a hudna is recognized in Islamic jurisprudence as a legitimate and binding contract.” - Americans should thank the New York Times for this bit of enlightenment. As we know, the US lacks Arab speakers, and this maybe the reason why the media nearly everywhere translates the term into English as "truce".
Will a hudna with Hamas really mark a "major breakthrough" toward a nonviolent future?

The answer lies in the historical meaning of the Muslim expression, Hamas' track record, and the terms of the road map itself. Hudna has a distinct meaning to Islamic fundamentalists, well-versed in their history.

It began with Islam's most revered founder, Muhammad. He declared a 10-year "hudna" with the Quraysh tribe that controlled Mecca in the 7th century. Two years into the hudna, Muhammad had acquired enough troops and arms to abrogate the hudna and conquer Mecca, the holiest city in Islam – decimating the Quraysh in the process.

This became known as the "Quraysh Model," which defines the meaning of a hudna. When you are militarily at a disadvantage, declare a "hudna" until you are militarily strong enough to discard it and win the war. This is a Muslim tactic that has been used over and over again throughout history with devastating success. According to Umdat as-Salik, a medieval summary of Shafi'i jurisprudence, hudnas with a non-Muslim enemy should be limited to 10 years: "if Muslims are weak, a truce may be made for ten years if necessary, for the Prophet made a truce with the Quraysh for that long, as is related by Abu Dawud" ('Umdat as-Salik, o9.16).

The "Quraysh-hudna" tactic is something that fits perfectly into the plans of terrorists who have already sworn they will never make a permanent peace with Israel.

Once Palestinians have a state, they can bring all manner of weapons and trained militants into the heart of Israel. Israel will be forced into indefensible borders and have only one ultimate military option – nuclear weapons.

The "hudna" that Muslims make with non-Muslims can never be more than temporary, and is entered into only because the Muslim side feels it is too weak to conduct open warfare, and would benefit from a respite from open hostilities. If the hudna is undertaken in order to give the Muslims time to gather their strength, then the Muslim side is then not merely allowed, but required, whenever it feels strong enough, to re-engage in open hostilities.

The idea of a permanent peace between Israel and Palestine is a "pipe dream." It is a self-deception for those who ignore the history of the Quraysh-Hudna Muslim tactic. To the followers of the Quran, this is just a tactical interlude in a long-term strategy for the ultimate annihilation of the state of Israel and the return of what they view as sacred Muslim soil to its rightful owner – Allah.

In the case of land previously conquered by Muslims, now under the control of "infidels," there is no time limit for the obligation of true Muslims to take it back for Allah. It never means a permanent peace. It is only a tactical interlude in which Muslims rearm for a successful jihad.

Hamas has proven time and again their commitment to a tactical hudna —
replenishing their strength during the quiet periods, then returning with increased deadliness. - As documented by The Washington Institute, Hamas agreed to no less than ten ceasefires in the past ten years, and after every single one returned freshly armed for terror. Hundreds of Israeli citizens have paid for these hudnas with their lives.

So beware of the limited cease-fire, called "hudna!"
